About Me


Daniel Dinh (he/him) is a musician and composer based in Melbourne, Australia. He has played many instruments to varying levels of proficiency over the past 20 years, including the clarinet family, saxophone family, euphonium and tuba.

As a musician, Daniel has performed with a number of ensembles around Australia, including the Sydney University Wind Orchestra, Sydney Wind Symphony, Heidelberg Wind Ensemble, Melbourne Rainbow Band, Wallarah Concert Band, Grainger Wind Symphony, Western Brass, Northern Brass, Central Coast Brass, Toronto Brass, and Waratah Brass. He was also actively involved in the Sydney University Science Revue as a musician, co-music director and videographer, as well being involved in a number of other revues, musical theatre and opera productions in Sydney.

As a composer, he has written and arranged works for a range of ensembles for over 15 years, including wind band, brass band, symphony orchestra, sax quartet, percussion ensemble, chamber ensembles, and small big band. Currently based in Melbourne, his music has been performed by the Sydney University Wind Orchestra, Royal Australian Navy Band (Melbourne), Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Melbourne Rainbow Band, and many other ensembles around the world.
